PIA Designed In Norway has grown through a strong drive to build something from scratch.

The interest in design, details and developing my own products has always been central. I previously qualified for the Norwegian Championship in Young Entrepreneurship, and that's where the interest in building something from idea to finished concept really grew.

-Seeing something go from idea to finished product gives an indescribable energy, and that feeling is precisely what lies behind the brand.

The first collection consists of hand-sewn toiletry bags in two thoughtful sizes. A small one – surprisingly spacious, and a large one – with space for both makeup and toiletries.

Each folder is designed to be both practical and aesthetic – a little eye-catcher in everyday life.

The choice of fabrics has been an important part of the process. The expression is based on characteristic, timeless patterns and carefully curated quality fabrics. I mainly choose structured furniture fabrics with weight and durability. Materials that give the products an exclusive feel and a sense of permanence. Not basic, but complete, sophisticated and with a subtle twist.

For PIA Designed In Norway, a toiletry bag is more than just storage. It's a small statement piece – something you carry in your bag, leave out in the bathroom, and that makes you feel a little more “put together”.

The products should last, feel luxurious and make you want to take care of them.
